How about a cool mix of melon and lime, sparkling mineral water and a hint of the exotic? This drink is the perfect companion for hot days and balmy summer nights. Here's to a fantastic summer full of sun, fun and sparkling refreshment! Cheers to the holiday season!

Watermelon summer drink

Ingredients:

• 500 g watermelon (without seeds)
• 1 lime (juice)
• 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (optional, depending on the sweetness of the watermelon)
• 300 ml cold mineral water (sparkling or still)
• A few mint leaves Ice cubes

Preparation:

1. Prepare the watermelon: Cut the watermelon into rough chunks and remove the seeds, if present.
2. Puree: Place the watermelon pieces in a blender and puree until smooth.
3. Blend: Add the lime juice and honey or agave syrup and blend again briefly.
4. Chill: Add the cold mineral water and stir well.
5. Serve: Place a few ice cubes in a glass, pour the watermelon drink over the top and garnish with fresh mint leaves.

Tip: For a particularly refreshing flavour, you can add a few slices of cucumber or a squeeze of lemon juice to the drink. If you like it even fizzier, replace some of the mineral water with cold sparkling water.
