Bookings: Faster task planning in Outlook

Bookings - What is that exactly?

Microsoft Bookings is an online and mobile app for small and medium-sized businesses. The application is ideal for those who offer services to customers on an appointment basis. These could be tax consultants and lawyers, hairdressing salons, dental labs, fitness studios, financial service providers, insurance consultants or car repair shops, for example.

Bookings for faster planning

With bookings, companies and organizations get a faster alternative to the often very time-consuming and repetitive planning of tasks. In addition, Bookings offers integrated flexibility and customization options for many tasks to be planned. SMEs and other organizations can thus carry out their important planning in a much shorter time. This opens up larger time windows for important customer meetings. 

Bookings in fresh design

At the same time as the new updates in Bookings, there is a new user experience. A fresh design provides more versatility and brings it closer to life. In addition, new features and product enhancements provide further customization, enabling a cross-organizational user experience and easier deployment of Bookings.

We can be curious about these innovations

Folgende Booking-Funktionen kommen noch in diesem Jahr:

- Read aloud e-mails (soon available in Outlook for iOS and Android in Canada, Australia, India and the United Kingdom)

- Why not ask Cortana to read you important e-mails on specific contacts and topics in iOS

- Voice commands: Commands for writing e-mails, making calls and scheduling are available later this month

- Contact folder synchronization: Also later this month, you can synchronize contact folders with your phone by category.

- Reactions: Throughout the year you will be able to respond to emojis. You don't even have to fill up your inbox

- QR connection: Also at the end of October you will be able to access your app and authenticate your work account even more easily.
