Now the first Azure MSP in Switzerland
Azure MSP - the Azure Expert Managed Service Provider Program - is a new global initiative from Microsoft. It is designed to identify and promote the most capable and reliable of Azure Managed Service Providers. Currently, only 37 Microsoft partners, mostly global IT groups, meet the strict criteria for this Azure MSP status.
We are thus very pleased and proud to have become the 38th partner worldwide on January 1, 2019, the third in Europe and the only Swiss company at all on this exclusive list.
What does this mean for you, the customer?
"The Microsoft Azure Expert MSP Program is exclusively for partners having profound, highly specialized Azure know-how. To guarantee this quality, it needs to be certified by an independent organization," as Gavriella Schuster, Microsoft Corporate Vice President, commented on the launch of the program.
"We congratulate the Baggenstos team on this enormous achievement," said Marianne Janik, CEO of Microsoft Switzerland. "Partners like Baggenstos enable us to drive forward the digital change in Switzerland and escort companies and organizations on their path into the future."
For you, the customer, this means verifiable, broad-based competence and excellence in all questions relating to Microsoft Cloud solutions, especially in terms of:
- First-class technical Azure know-how
- Efficient and practical processes, plus reliable service management
- State of the art security of organization and infrastructure
High expectations achieved
Here are just a few of the exacting requirements for obtaining Azure Expert MSP status:
- 15 full-time employees having extensive Microsoft Certified Professional credentials
- Four customer testimonials about the Azure solutions realized
- At least US$ 100,000 of monthly Azure consumption
- A comprehensive range of Azure services
- A Microsoft Premium Support contract
- An extensive review of organization and processes by the external certification body, Information Security Systems International (ISSI)
Verification by external certification body
Compliance with these requirements is verified by an extensive checklist. This comprises 160 individual points divided into sections ranging from "Business Health and Managed Service Focus" and "Security and Governance", through to "Continual Improvement and Process Optimization".
During an intensive three-day assessment, a representative of the ISSI certification body reviewed the existing know-how, the organization and also our processes. The project team at Baggenstos GL, our project managers and our consultants were all delighted to receive confirmation, punctually at New Year's, that we had made it:
For us, this certification signifies confirmation of our cloud-first and Managed Services strategy, which we have been consistently pursuing over several years.
When may we escort you also on your path to the cloud?
