Teams Tips: Speaker View
If you often work with Speaker View in PowerPoint, then today's Teams tip is guaranteed to be right up your alley. Microsoft Teams allows you to share PowerPoint presentations in full screen while viewing the speaker view. This feature simplifies your work whenever only a single monitor is available.
Share in full screen - view in speaker mode
With Microsoft Teams, it is easily possible to display the presentation view and the speaker view on only one monitor. This case may arise in practice when you or your employees want to retreat to a separate meeting room (for example) for a customer presentation and there is only one monitor in this room.

The following 3 steps will get you to Speaker View on just one monitor. Get started:
1.) Starting the presentation in full screen mode
First activate the presentation mode in full screen in PowerPoint via the menu item "Slide Show" or via the F5 key.
2.) Share full screen presentation in teams
In an ongoing Teams meeting, now select to share only the window that shows the full-screen PowerPoint presentation. Do not select the entire desktop to share. (Tip: You may need to enable computer sound to play audio or videos).
3.) Speaker view
Now activate the presentation displayed in full screen via the right mouse button and thus activate the speaker mode. Your customers or other participants in the meeting will now see the full-screen presentation, while the speaker view is available to you.
